On 26th July, Tuesday, we had an intimate dinner of six as our first event.
The dinner was for two celebrations....a 36th (if i heard correctly) wedding anniversary of one of the most charming couple i've met, and a birthday celebration of their son.
So, Chef Rose and I were doing our best to make it an eventful for the couple, sister in law, their two sons, daughter in law, and their grandchildren. A family affair indeed and a heart-warming too.
It started with fresh tomato soup with rye basil croutons, Aussie grain-fed tenderloin with blue cheese sauce and black pepper sauce, mash potatoes and french fries and vegetables.
Due to the 'tight dateline', we forgot about taking photos of the nicely prepared meal but here we managed to take some photos while still work-in-progress.
At the end of the evening, we were given quite 'handsome' tips. I say, job well done.
